Hello & Welcome

We’d like to say a warm welcome to everyone visiting our brand-new website.

We never would have thought that a little idea of building a small heart with some stones on the Bwlch mountain in the Rhondda Valleys would lead to all this. All of the interest around the heart has well exceeded our expectations and we have been overwhelmed with all of the support we have received. We are so grateful to the many businesses that have supported our project as we would never have got this far without them and their generous donations.

From all the kind donations we have received so far we have decided to place 2 memory benches overlooking the heart on the Bwlch mountain to remember those that have sadly lost their lives during the pandemic. We are also hoping that if we continue to receive donations that over time we will be able to place more memory benches around RCT.

This journey has helped us as a family find comfort during the very difficult grieving process after the loss of our much loved Mam/Nanna. We have been so touched seeing the comfort that the heart has brought to others who have lost loved ones over the pandemic, our hearts go out to every family affected and they will always be remembered.
